2013年1月5日雅思写作解析

　　Writing Task One：

　　#回忆题目#据考生回忆2013年1月5日雅思写作部分(A类)小作文为两饼图，一张为某年人们离开英国的原因，令一张为同年人们抵达英国的原因。(见下图)备考指南可参见剑桥B8P30(PIE和TABLE拼图)、B8P53(三饼图)和B7P101(四饼图)

　　#备考#饼图分为两类：一是数值类;二为百分比类。在实战中又以百分比类题目出现的次数居多。相对于bar, line, table, map和diagram来说，饼图如果提供的是一个时间点，那么在具体措辞时，“占”无疑为选，如若为多个时间点，可参照对line的描述，这里列举一下B8P53中如何对furniture and equipment的数据变化进行写作：The year 1991 saw a sharp decrease of 10 percent in expense on furniture and equipment which rose to 23 percent in 2001.所以建议诸位考生在对待某一类题目时，要全方位考量写作出发点，能否利用发散性思维，由此及彼，环环相扣!所以之前花些时间进行思考就显得尤为重要。

　　1-“如图所示”According to the pie chart(s),.../As is shown in the pie chart(s),...;

　　2-“占”take up/represent/account for/constitute/make up;

　　3-“分数”a quarter of/half of/three-fifths/a third;

　　#2013年1月10日寄语#

　　2013年一个新的轮回已悄然开始(Quietly 2012 took his/her leave as quietly as the year 2013 came.)，就小作文而言，六大类题型会逐一拜访各位备战中的烤鸭，如果细分的话，饼柱线表四位一体，地图流程合二为一，建议两大类时间分配比为4:1。1月10号，在这短短不到一周的时间里，建议各位练习一下：

　　B7P78: The chart below shows information about changes in average house prices in five different cities between 1990 and 2002 compared with the average house prices in 1989.

　　B7P53: The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

　　B6P52: The table below gives information about changes in modes of travel in England between 1985 and 2000.

　　大作文-Some people spend more time reading books, while others prefer to watch TV.The former group are more likely to develop creative imaginations and have a much better grasp of language skills. Do you agree or disagree?

　　introductory paragraph需要交代一下background information+thesis statement+a clear position;

　　Reference Answer:

　　When people are requested to make a reply to how they can cultivate their language skills or turn out to be imaginative. Reading and watching TV are two possible answers. Some people forcefully argue that reading is more conducive than TV viewing to our fellow human beings' personal development. From my perspective, it is fully justified. This essay will analyze the aforementioned issue from two aspects.

　　supporting paragraphs用两段可分别阐述：一方面，读书可以让我们有充裕的时间进行思考，这无疑会让我们插上想象力的翅膀而飞翔在知识的天空，更便于打下坚实的语言基础;相反，看电视则是属于一种快餐式的消费，随着电视节目不断往下进行，似乎观众无暇去思考太多;

　　concluding paragraph为全文做summary+closing remarks

　　Reference Answer:

　　To conclude, there is no doubt that a bigger population can garner benefits from TV watching, however, as for those who are willing to develop their imaginative abilities and have an excellent command of language skills, reading is admittedly a better choice.

　　G类写作Writing Task Two题目：

　　Some people think that children are supposed to obey their parents, while others argue they should think independently. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　#题目翻译#有人认为小孩子应该按照父母所说的去做事情，而另外一些人则认为他们应该具备独立思考的能力。讨论双方观点并给出你的观点。

　　#题目解读#这无疑是在讨论小孩子的教育问题，一方面，小孩子听从父母之言主要是因为父母的personal/past experience;另一方面，小孩子培养一种独立的能力对于他们今后的发展非常crucial。整篇文章构架如下：

　　Introductory Paragraph:

　　It is a truth universally acknowledged that it takes ten years to nurture a tree, but a hundred years to train a man. Education, especially children' education, is without doubt the cornerstone of a country's sustained development. Some people think children should conform to their parents' instructive words, while others believe they ought to learn to be independent of their parents. This essay will look at the two views separately.

　　Supporting Paragraph One:

　　Those who are in favor of the former viewpoint argue that children can be better taught under parents' direction.

　　Independent thinking carries much weight to children's personal development.

　　To sum up, Opinions are flowing over the same issue with regard to how children should be raised. Parental guidance will be better implemented if children's way of thinking can be taken into consideration.
